Commercial License Poll

The poll has a drop-down menu but the arrow doesn't show because it's too wide. The menu will come up if you click on the answer box.

Would you like me to offer commercial licenses?

Two and Take Two

I have two and a half templates for you today. I say 'a half' because one isn't really new. I was looking back at Template 021 and I didn't like the spacing of the small square photos. I adjusted it to my liking and am offering it for download as well. The two new templates are kind of similar. I used the first one (which only has four photos) as inspiration for the second one (which features multiple photos).

Here's what they look like:

Quick Post

Just dropping in to put up two more 8.5x11 templates. I should have a 12x12 template (or two) ready tomorrow, so come back and visit.

Here are today's templates:

Back to School

Today's my first day of the semester. I'm both excited and sad. Yesterday was my last day off for a long while, so that kind of takes the fun away from learning new things. Oh well, I'll get over it.

I have several downloads for you today. And again, something for everyone.

The first download is the first set of 8.5x11 sketches.

Second is the latest set of 12x12 sketches.

Next are four more converted 8.5x11 templates.

And last but not least, two new 12x12 templates. These are 2 versions of the same template. One has a 6x4 photo with six 2x2 photos. The other has a 8x6 photo with eight 2x2 photos. I was going to choose between them but ended up liking both.

That should keep you all scrapping for awhile, no? :) Have a great day everyone!

More to Share

I know I haven't posted for a few days, but I have been hard at work on some new freebies. I should have some new downloads for you tomorrow, so be sure to visit.

And today is another day of show and tell. Tami has been scrapping up a storm. She has used my templates to create several pages to share with all of you.

Super Saturday

It's my last weekend before the fall semester starts. Come Wednesday, the first day of school, I don't know how often I will be able to work on templates and updating my blog. But since I actually have fun making these templates, it does serve as stress relief for me. So I'll probably end up still working on it quite a bit. I will try to post something new at least once a week, so be sure to visit every now and then.

Today I have something for everyone. Digital and paper scrappers, 12x12 and 8.5x11 scrappers alike. There is one more set of sketches, two 8.5x11 templates, and one 12x12 template for download. Happy scrapping!

Show and Tell

Tami has made a few pages using my layouts and was gracious enough to allow me to post them here. I hope they will help inspire all of you in using my templates!

For this first one, Tami flipped the template horizontally to use for the second page.

For this next one, Tami used a different template for each page.

Thanks for sharing, Tami!

And of course, I have a couple of downloads for you today. I have the second set of sketches for you as well as the first of my (converted) 8.5x11 templates.

Busy Day

Lots of stuff to share today.

Several people had great ideas for my "kids page" template. Sharon Kay said it might be good for a team page, Belle said it would work well for a year-in-review page, and Tami said it would be nice for a page of her kindergarten class. All great ideas!

Today's freebie is the same idea as last freebie, only done with circles. I made one with 2-inch circles in the same format as last freebie and one with 2.5-inch circles that filled the page more. Since I couldn't decide which one I liked better, you get both.

I've started creating PDF files for my layouts as well. This is for paper scrappers who want to use my layouts as sketches or for digital scrappers who just want a print out of my layouts (like for ease of choosing a template to use). Each file will have 5 of my layouts in sketch format. I have one for you today, and I'll be putting up more in the coming days.

Also, I'm considering converting my 12x12 templates into 8.5x11 templates. Is this something you would be interested in? I don't really know how popular this size is. I've always scrapped 12x12 and then printed at 8x8. Leave a comment on my blog if you would like to see 8.5x11 templates.

Here are today's downloads:

Kids Page

I really really like today's freebie. It has spots for twelve 2-inch photos and one 4 x 6 photo. I think it would work terrifically for a baby's first year or a K-12 school years layout. And please, if you do use this template, send me a link to it. I would love to see what you have been able to create with it. If I get a chance, I may even dig up my old school pictures and use this template myself!

Scrabble Winner

My boyfriend and I went over to his friend's house and played a game of Scrabble. I usually stink horribly at Scrabble, but tonight was my night. I won by one point. And I won with the word tuber. Yes, that's right, like a potato.

Speaking of winners, I just finished watching the Women's Marathon in the Olympics. Crazy stuff. A 38-year-old woman won, running 26.2 miles in under 2 1/2 hours. That works out to less than 6 minutes a mile, for 26 miles in a row. That's endurance. I really admire these Olympic athletes and their dedication to their sports. It's really amazing.

Anyway, on to scrapbooking. Only a handful of people voted in the poll about commercial licenses and only two of you actually want them. So for right now, my templates will continue to be for personal use only. I will look into working out the details of a commercial license. But unless I see much more interest, it probably won't be a huge priority for me. The poll (now located at the top of my blog) will stay open in the meantime.

And finally, the freebie.

A Question

So someone asked me if my templates are okay for Scrap for Hire projects. At this moment, no, they aren't. As is stated in my TOU, my templates are for personal use only. However, I'd like to see how many others are interested in my templates for commercial use. I may decide to offer commercial licenses for a small per-template fee. Could you please take a few seconds to participate in the following poll? Thanks a bunch!

** The poll has been moved to the top of my blog. **

One Down, One to Go

Well, I'm finished with my first test and my last one for the summer semester is later today. Then I have a two-week break before the fall semester begins. I can't wait!

I'm posting a template today that I think may be one of my favorites thus far. I usually don't do massive amounts of journaling. I tend to just put a few sentences, a caption or two, or some word art. I think this is the reason I love multi-photo, collage-type layouts. This template is perfect for that. Minimal space for journaling, title along the upper left side, and the rest of the page filled by photos. I hope all of you like it as much as I do! Here is my latest template:

Quick Break

Hi all. I'm taking a quick (much-needed) break from studying to say hi and post a freebie. Here is a preview of the template:

Finals Week

A special thank you to Ikea Goddess for posting my templates on her blog. I was so excited to see she had put up three of my freebies. Back when I had more free time, I used to stalk her blog daily, so it really means a lot to me to have her link to me.

I also wanted to thank everyone for their kind comments. I really appreciate your thoughts on my templates. And don't forget, I would LOVE to see what you are able to create with the templates. Send me a link to your work and I will post your layout on my blog.

It's the end of my summer semester and I have finals this week. Blech. I will try to be productive and study during my free time, so that means not much time for my blog. I may try to pop in and post a couple of freebies during the week but may not get to it again until the weekend.

But since I have haven't started studying just yet, here are two freebies for you:

Apologies

Oops, sorry about the mix-up. The link to Template 12 has been fixed.

My Favorite Designer

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE Miss Mint at Peppermint Creative. Just a few days ago, she released a ton of new products and I am in heaven! After I got home from work, I went to the website and saw the new releases and a new sale. My boyfriend laughed at me as I squealed in delight. To be honest, I haven't bought anything yet. But that's only because of monthly bills. Once I'm sure everything's taken care of, I know where I'll be spending all my extra cash. I can't wait!

I've got new stuff too! Two more templates for download:

Yay for the Weekend

It's funny how even though I work the whole weekend, I can still be excited for it. I think the days just have a different feel to them. Plus, there's no school. That's always a plus for me.

Well, in any case, I've got two new freebie templates to celebrate:

Productive Weekend

The weekend's gone and that means school will probably keep me from doing anything else. But I have had a very productive weekend! Here are four new templates for you:
