I'm so excited! I just bought myself a new laptop that I've had my eye on for over a year now. It's a Lenovo ThinkPad X61 Tablet. Here's what it looks like:
I love that I'll be able to input things into my computer by writing. I've always found that writing helps me remember things better than typing does. And it's a wonderful bonus that I'll be able to use it for scrapbooking as well. I think one of the first things I'm going to do when I get it will be to use my own handwriting to create a font that I can use when scrapbooking!
For my birthday, my boyfriend and some friends also all chipped in to get me a scanner that I've been wanting even longer than the laptop! It's the Canon CanoScan 8800F, and here is what it looks like:
It can scan in 35mm negatives which I'm all about. I would love to be able to get all my old pictures onto my computer! I've seen other people rave about their Epson scanner, but I'm very much a Canon girl. I have 2 Canon digital cameras and a Canon printer that I love. My first printer ever was a Canon inkjet which served me well. Later on, we had an Epson printer that took 10 minutes to warm up, no joke. It would make all sorts of crazy noises before it would start printing. So back to Canon I went.
I think the next thing I need to get is a color profiler for my monitor. I've used Adobe Gamma, but I think I want something a little more. I'm currently looking at the Eye-One Diplay LT or Display 2 or the Spyder2 or Spyder3. If anyone has any opinions on these (or any others), feel free to share.
Well, enough about that stuff. Here are two more 8.5x11 templates for all of you:
Commercial License Poll
The poll has a drop-down menu but the arrow doesn't show because it's too wide. The menu will come up if you click on the answer box.

Congrats on your new geek toys! I love my laptop...doesn't do the writing like yours does but I'm a pretty fast typist. lol
Do you know how to make your own fonts? If not...go to sweetshopdesigns.com and darcy baldwin makes them...I just bought a printing font from her to do my son's handwriting from!

Thank you so much for all of these wonderful templates. I love that the pictures are the focus instead of just the papers you can use and that you usually put a few pictures on each page. They are great!
Thanks for sharing your templates. The link for Template 13a is currently broken. I would really love to be able to download this template. Hopefully it can be fixed.
